Oona's typography: Just because the world is a mess, doesnt mean you have to look like one

When the Harvard Square vintage staple, Oona's Experienced Clothing, changed ownership in 2010 after 38 years, I was happy to work with the new owner, Ellie Mueller, on her logo redesign(hand lettered!) and signage.  This fall, I had the chance to work with Ms. Mueller again on some advertising.  She colored up some vintage photographs, and I added the dada-inspired fonts she requested for her sassy catchphrases.  Any regular reader of the Improper Bostonian, the Boston Phoenix, the Weekly Dig, or the Harvard Crimson, may have spotted our collaborations in the pages of recent issues(not to mention a few to come!).
